The interior fabric and wallpaper collection draws on pivotal moments that have defined Liberty as the leading tastemaker and artistic innovator of interior design. Framed by the rich textures and relaxed glamour of bohemian botanicals lies the genesis of Liberty. Discovered in the renowned 60,000-strong design archive, high Victorian maximalist-style paisleys, embellished embroideries, and ‘70s style florals are complemented by characterful geometrics and formal stripes. Inspired by the sophistication of artists, poets, and playwrights from the sensuous Aesthetic movement, The House of Liberty embodies the decades’ cultural shifts in a captivating array of harmonious juxtapositions.
A true heritage icon, Hera has adorned Liberty designs ever since the mid-1880s, appearing woven into and printed onto furnishing textiles, fashion fabrics, and scarves. Exhibited once more for interiors in an array of rich peacock hues, Regency Hera is a weave interpretation of the classic Hera designs.
