FuturLiberty is an exploration of the unexpected in the Liberty archive, resulting in a reinvention of Liberty Fabrics – inspired by, and celebrating the artistic movements of Futurism, Vorticism and a century of avant-garde.
In collaboration with expert textile mills in Italy, Belgium, and India, the subtle textures and details from the artwork have been carefully translated into a beautiful array of woven, embroidered, and printed fabrics. From surprising geometrics, lively abstractions, and rhythmic lines, this innovative Interiors collection combines the designer’s artistic sensibilities with expert craftsmanship.
Meticulously hand-painted in the Liberty Design Studio, in the heart of London, and expertly crafted in Italy, Belgium, and India.
Painted Elements is Liberty’s witty interpretation of the traditional pinstripe. Hand-painted lines are printed on a textured linen and cotton base cloth to create a charming drapery and upholstery fabric. Offered in six distinct colourways: Sahara, Cetona, Innocent, Piccadilly, Tobacco, and Vesuvio.
